I don't know what to say cause everyone is jumbled up in different classes but wells... it is really a pleasure to be with 2E cause that is my very best class I have (so far). So do come and blog more often. (:

Reminiscence of 2E

Hey all. Since I have too much free time on my hands now, I decided to post about what I rmb abt 2E, kinda like a dedication post to 2E? I'll write abt the interesting experiences I had in the past year, memorable teachers quotes/conversations with the class and maybe shoutouts to everyone in class?

Well, I guess I shall start off with the interesting experiences with the whole class which I rmb and my thots abt them. I'll try to list the events in chronology.

January 2nd, First day of school:

Ms Chong and Ms Su got the class to play human bingo so that we can get to know each other better. Till today, I still rmb what Ms Su said b4 giving out the human bingo sheets.

She said,
"*Evil Laughter* Let's see whose favourite subject is Math!"

I was kinda scared when she said that and it's becoz my favourite subject IS Math. I mean, she sounded like she was gonna do something scary to that person(No offence to Ms Su). So I rmb going around asking ppl to sign my human bingo sheet. I rmb I signed under "My favourite subject is Math" for quite a lot of ppl and I was sure Ms Su was gonna arrow me.

So when all the human bingo sheets were collected back, Ms Chong and Ms Su decided that they had to verify that ppl did not anyhow sign on the sheets. Ms Su was the verifying officer while Ms Chong picked random names for Ms Su to verify.

One by one, ppl's names were read out and they were questioned by Ms Su. Then suddenly, Ms Chong read out my name and she was like, "Yvonne, is your favourite subject.....Math?"

So I stood up and said yes. So Ms Su started pacing around a bit with her arms behind her, and was like, "Ok, since your favourite subject is Math, tell me what is -a very long sum involving addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.-" I was quite blur becoz I couldn't hear what were the numbers. Even if I heard what she said, I don't think I would have been able to work the ans out in my head lar! I'm not a human calculator.

So I asked her to repeat her qn. Then I tried calculating the ans for whatever I thot she said. Actually, I was kinda brain dead but I tried to turn the tables around. So I said, "Hmm, then do you know what the ans for that qn is?"

Ms Su confidently said,
"Yes! The ans is one!"

I assumed that she was uttering a random number so I said,
"Are you sure?"

Haha, Ms Su was like, "No. Hehe. But wait! I'll go and calculate."

I was let off after that and I thot Ms Su was joking abt calculating. She actually calculated and the ans was really one! Haha.

From that day on, Ms Su and Ms Chong kept on picking on the fact that my favourite subject is Math.

Some instances of them mentioning abt me and my favourite subject:

#1 The class treasurer incident.

Later that day, we had a class election to elect the class committee members and subject reps. I was one of the nominees for the class chair position but I didn't get it so if you count by votes, I would have been one of the two class treasurers. Then Michelle was picked to be the Chinese rep. Michelle had violent objections abt being the Chinese rep and a lot of ppl were telling me to swop roles with her.

Then Ms Su said,
"Aiya! Yvonne likes Math so let her be treasurer lar!"

But I agreed to swop roles with Michelle becoz I was quite confident I wouldn't get a certain Chinese teacher as my Chinese teacher. No, I don't hate her, just really scared of her :] I mean, there are HCL girls in my class so I thot they would get her even if she was assigned to 2E. So I thot, "why not?" and decided to swop.

When I found out who my CL teacher is this year, I was seriously in shock while Michelle was simply jumping with joy.

#2 I was used as an example when Ms Su was speaking to us during TPC period.

Ms Su was talking abt helping your classmates or smth like that.

So she gave an example and said,
"For example, I sit next to Yvonne and I know my Math is very bad. So if I don't know how to do a Math question and need her help, I shouldn't be like 'HOW TO DO ARH? HOW TO DO ARH?' in front of her and expect her to help me right? If I need her help I have to open my mouth and ask her right?"

#3 I had to teach Ms Chong how to convert the raw scores for LA to percentages.

We had to sign the marksheet for LA CA1.

So Ms Chong was like,
"Class, please check your marks on the mark sheet. The marks on the marksheet is the raw scores becoz I don't know how to convert them to percentages. Yvonne, since your favourite subject is Math, can you come up here and write the forumla to convert the raw scores to percentages?"

Everyone was like shouting out to Ms Chong the formula to convert the percentages after she said that but she still got me to write the formula on the board while she went out of class for a while.

Ok, I have to admit, I actually forgot how to convert that time. I know, my pri sch Math suck. But I had help from like Rachel Gunn so I rmb eventually. =P Hehe.

So I went up to write the formula.

When she got back to class and took a look at the formula, she called me up.

She actually said,
"Are you sure this is the correct formula? I thot it's supposed to be 0.4, not 40(%)?"

So I said,
"Yes, I'm sure. I checked with the calculator."

Haha. Ms Chong really has forgotten her pri sch Math! =P

#4 I had to count the votes for the prefect nominations.

I think we were having project work or smth in the comp lab. Then suddenly Ms Chong came in and she told us that she will be holding the prefect nominations at that time.

Then, she said,
"I'm so sorry Yvonne. Since you are good in Math, I need you to do me a favour... Could you help me count the number of hands that are raised up for the prefect nominees?"

Haha. I was actually wondering what kind of favour she needed at first when she mentioned the Math part. So I helped her count the hands.

Those were a few incidents I rmb.

Ok, I'm gonna continue with the interesting experiences that I rmb.

April 1st, April Fool's Day:

It was a Tuesday but that day it was Friday's timetable becoz we had been missing too much of Friday lessons due to the hols during that period of time.

First period was Math. So b4 Ms Tang came into class, I had to be in sync with Eunice. So she was saying, "Yvonne! At 7.55-8am on the class clock, I will raise up my hand and ask Ms Tang a Math qn. That's the signal for you to start walking up to her!"

I dunno how/why I agreed to even play this prank on Ms Tang. Haha, I guess I'm just really easily convinced/crazy? I rmb we even had a trial run b4 that day. Eunice even praised me for my very convincing prank. Haha.

So anw, Ms Tang came into class shortly after. It was abt 7.55am so I started paying attention to Eunice. Abt 2 mins ltr, she looked back at me and made a face which signalled that she was gonna ask Ms Tang a qn.

So she raised up her hand and said,
"Ms Tang Ms Tang! I don't understand this qn!"

So I started to get up from my seat. I rmb quite a few ppl were like watching me. So I tried to look very sick and tried not to laugh.

Then I walked up to Ms Tang and said in a dead voice,
"Ms Tang...Can I go to the toilet?"

Ms Tang paused for a while and she seemed to be hesitant. Then she said I could go.

So I walked slowly out towards the door. Then I stopped and I pretended that I was dizzy. I think I smiled at Ruth or smth b4 I fainted!

"THUD!"

I fell to the floor and I was "unconscious".

The next moment, I heard like some chairs moving. Like ppl standing up? Ms Tang was like very flustered. I rmb hearing her say smth like,
"Ohnonononono."

I was trying to keep still and not laugh. It was so funny lar!

Then she went up to me and lifted my arm. I was trying to relax my arm so when she lifted it up and let go, my arm fell to the floor quite normally.

Then she said,
"Maybe two stronger girls can come up and help carry her up?"

Nobody did anything so she repeated herself.

There was a short pause.

I was wondering what happened. Then suddenly Ms Tang said,
"Aiya! Fake one right?"

Then the whole class started laughing and then I got up and started laughing too. So I was like,
"Happy April Fool's Day Ms Tang!" And went back to my seat.

Dang, I should have like just stayed there and end up pranking the whole class and Ms Tang. =P

So funny lar. Then the next 10 mins or so Ms Tang was sharing with us her thots when I fainted and another similar incident which happened to another teacher.

After Math was LA. We were trying to prank Ms Chong and we pretended we were gonna have a Chem test. So we actually separated our tables and took out our science textbooks and looked really stressed out. Then Ms Chong came in.

A few ppl were appointed to ask her weird qns. What we didn't expect, was that Ms Chong looked as if she was prepared to ans those qns. So she answered those qns readily and then she said, "Ah great! Since all of y'all have your desks separated, we shall have a compo test now!"

Everyone was like, "AIYA! It's a joke right?"

She got serious and was like, "No, it isn't."

So she started flashing the qns on the screen and told us to choose a qn no.

Then she was like, " I've prepared some notes for the qns so I'm gonna flash them now."

And the paper that was flashed read, "HAPPY APRIL FOOLS!!!!"

Haha. I'm very sure a lot of us actually fell for her prank. Ms Chong then revealed that our ~~beloved~~ Class Chair, Charlotte was in cahoots with Ms Chong. Charlotte made it clear that she didn't know abt the last part of Ms Chong's joke. I think everyone wanted to kill Charlotte ~~the traitor~~. Haha.

What a funny day that was.

April 29, The day everyone found out Xiao Rui had a headless friend:

This was another funny day. During PE that day, we were having another session of Volleyball with Ms Su.

I rmb she called everyone to gather halfway thru the lesson.

Then suddenly, Ms Su saw a volleyball at the other end of the netball court.

So she started asking who the volleyball belonged to. Then nobody said anything so she asked again. She got quite fed up so she said she was gonna count to 5 and that the owner of the ball better admit the ball belonged to her.

1...2...3....4....5. Still no answer.

Then she got everyone to stand up beside their partners and hold their ball.

Eh? How come everyone has a ball?

So when Ms Su saw that everyone had a ball, she freaked out and said,
"HUH? It really does not belong to anyone? How did it get there? GOT GHOST?!"

Hahaha. Xiao Rui innocently said that she wasn't sure who the ball belonged to and that she heard someone calling her to get the ball. Ms Su got really interested in Xiao Rui's story so she told her to elaborate.

So she was saying that she got the ball and looked around for anyone that was looking for the ball. She couldn't find anyone so she started asking around. But it didn't belong to anyone so she just left it on the floor.

Ms Su started teasing her and said,
"Huh? Really got ghost arh?! Maybe the ghost was like, 'Xiao Rui.....get that ball for me.....it's my head!.......'(in a ghostly voice)"

Eunice must have been really spooked out so she screamed.

Then Ms Su was saying that Xiao Rui had a headless friend. At the end of the lesson, Ms Su was like,
"And Xiao Rui, I don't know if your headless friend is a him or her but you better return his head to him!"

So crazy lar.

May 19, Crazy Class Party:
We had our first and only class party that day. It was really well organised! Kudos to the ppl who had organised the party :]

I rmb we had a lot of fun/wacky/crazy/innovative games that day.

We played:
#1 Captain's ball with a banana
#2 Human size minesweeper
#3 Pass the mayo/ketchup through a human chain and fill the cup up with the sauce
#4 Jacobs ladder and using your hair to retain water and fill up a cup with it

I felt that these were very original games.

It's a pity Ms Su couldn't join us. Ms Chong came but she was not really participating and she was just reading a book.

Aiyo, so anti-social arh?

Maybe she just didn't want to get dirty. After all, she had smth on ltr.

Hope we can have another class party during hols or maybe a class reunion next year?

May 20-23, ROCs Trip to M'sia:

Those few days were super fun! I felt that we grew closer as a class during those few days.

I rmb on the FRIM day, we had to go on a trekking trail. We had to go on the canopy walk and we were like encouraging each other to keep going as some ppl actually got scared halfway up there.

Also, as we were coming down the hill, the person in front would stop to help the person at the back to just get down the steep rocks/steps. We kept a look out for each other and I rmb the front would shout, "Hey! Be careful! This part is slippery!" And that msg was passed down all the way to the back. It really showed that we cared for one another and I felt really proud of the class.

Then on the third night, we had a really funny debrief.

America's Next Top Model! Hosted by Ms Su Pei Luan.

Haha. Ms Su and Ms Chong wanted us to nominate 6 ppl for the title of "The Model 2E person". So Ms Su started pretending that we were on the America's Next Top Model show and she was the host.

At the end of the nominations, Ms Su said,
"Actually you all cannot make it. Only Ms Chong and I have the looks!"

COUGH COUGH COUGH =P

I rmb laffing like crazy when Ms Su got the "models" to model down the "walkway" and pose. So after we voted, Ms Su got the 6 nominees to come back.

Ms Su was saying things like, ""Sorry, but the judges have decided, that it is not your night tonight" to the ppl who weren't the one with the most votes.

And if I rmb correctly, the model 2E title went to...........
Huey Yee!

The last day was fun! That day it was Ethel's birthday and Ms Chong and Ms Su had a surprise for her. So when we were at Yong Peng, Ms Chong and Ms Su went down the bus. Then Ms Su came up and told Ethel to go down the bus becoz Ms Chong was looking for her.

When she left the bus, Ms Su told us to wish her happy birthday when they returned to the bus. So from the bus, everyone was like watching Ethel being scolded by Ms Chong and giggling. Haha.

But then after some time, there was some ppl still in the toilet so Ms Su decided to go down and stall for time.

Oops, we lost your passport Ethel ;]

Haha, poor Ethel. When she got back to the bus, she looked like she was gonna cry but then everyone started saying happy birthday in unision. I think her her tears became tears of joy.

Then on the way back, we sang some songs! Like, With Christ in the Vessel and the Mr Peter Rabbit song(the song which Ms Su taught us, can't rmb if that's the correct name of the song).

I really enjoyed myself during ROCs.

July 4, Family Night:

This was another fun day. Our class colour dress code was Purple. But then many of us decided to wear our class t-shirt, which was yellow, becoz a lot of us don't have any purple top. I think a teacher even scolded us for wearing yellow becoz yellow was 2T's colour dress code(can't rmb).

For the parent-daughter modelling session, Annabelle and her dad represented us! Somebody suggested that she wore Barno over her head and model all the way up on stage. Haha. Super funny lar.

Very sporting indeed.

July 18, The day Ruth fell in love with one of the China exchange student(don't kill me Ruth =P):

Haha. This was a really funny day. It was only during first period that we found out that four China exchange students were gonna join our class for one day.

Ruth was reportedly seen staring at a particular China student and mouthing the words, "OMG, he's so cute!" to Jia Min. Soon, everyone in class knew abt this exciting piece of news.

I think Minn Hwei actually told one of the female China students that Ruth had a crush on her classmate. Don't know if that girl told her classmate. Hahaha.

By a twist of fate, the China boy that Ruth had her eyes on was assigned to sit next to Ruth.

OOOOOH AHHHH! =P

Ltr that day when we were having our Home Econs/MEP lesson, the two China guys wanted to join my half of the class for Home Econs. So that means they had to cook too!

So Mrs Phua split them up and got them to join a kitchen unit. Everyone was like, "Ruth! Take that guy in lar!" Ruth must be seriously fated to be with that guy becoz he ended up joining her kitchen unit!

After Home Econs, we went back to class and had free period as Home Econs ended half an hour early. Then the China student exchange students had to leave so Charlotte had to bring them downstairs.

Just a few secs after Charlotte left with the China students, someone shouted,
"Ruth! Go get his number b4 he leaves!"

Soon, everyone was encouraging Ruth to go run after the guy. Ruth actually got up but was hesitant. But the class spurred her on so she actually dashed out of class and ran after the group!
Sounds really dramatic

So everyone rushed out of class and they were like watching her approach the group. But then the prefects got us to go back into class. Aww... Haha, guess they were just doing their duty.

It turns out that Huey Yee had gotten their contacts on behalf of ~~Ruth~~ the class. =P

July 30, The day we found out Ms Chong is engaged:
This incident was quite funny. I think the rumour started from the ppl sitting in the front row. Apparently, Ms Chong was handing the girls in the front row some forms to pass downt the row.

She was reportedly "showing off her ring" by flashing her ring finger in front of the front row girls when she handed them the forms. Well, at least that's what I heard from them =P

So a few days ltr, we actually planned a surprise for Ms Chong to congratulate her on her engagement.

So funny. Eunice told Ms Chong that she wanted to show smth related to MOV. And she was trying to hide the flower by covering it with Ms Chong's bag when Ms Chong was at the comp.
Ms Chong kept looking back becoz she saw that Eunice was behaving suspiciously.

"Oh GLORIA, will you marry me?"

HAHAHAHA. So we showed the clip where "Ms Chong's boyfriend(played by Samantha)" proposed to "Ms Chong(played by Andrea)". Ms Chong told us that whatever that was acted out in the clip was not what really happened. So we asked her to tell us what really happened but she didn't want to and said that she'll tell us another day.

Btw Ms Chong, we still haven't heard your story yet!

We've shared many fun/funny moments as a class and I really cherish and treasure every of such moments. The list of such moments can go on and on so if I didn't mention that incident, it doesn't mean that I've forgotten abt it. It's just that I'm too lazy to type somemore of these incidents. Hehe.

And now for memorable teacher quotes/moments/convos.

I've mentioned a lot of such moments with Ms Chong and Ms Su so I shall skip them.

Now I'm gonna go according to subjects. So it's like I'll start with the Math teachers, then science teachers, and then humans teachers and so on... I'll try to include all the teachers but I'll leave out the ones whom I can't rmb any memorable moment now.

Ms Tang

Funny moment #1

During Math, Ms Tang was showing us how the french curve looked like. So she was holding it and she said, "Andrea, ytd you used the flexicurve as a...backstratcher right? What are you gonna use this as? Earrings?" Then the class started laffing. Andrea looked so embarrassed! Then Ms Tang said, "Haha. Andrea looks so embarrassed! I was just teasing you =]"

Funny moment #3

During Math, we were doing quadratic graphs. So Ms Tang was teaching halfway when she remebered an incident that happened to her when she was still in JC. So she was like, "One day, we were having a lesson. We had to draw quadratic graphs. The person sitting beside me was called "Rosemarie." So Rosemarie finished drawing her curves on the graph paper. Then she went to show another classmate, Elton(or is it Elston?) her graph and she was like, "El(s)ton! Are my curves nice?" Then El(s)ton said cheekily, "Yeah! You're curves are VERY NICE!" Then the whole class started laffing.

Funny moment #4

Ms Tang had actually contradicted what she said in one incident during Math. Don't think many ppl noticed... But anw, she was telling us that for our graph project groups, we were grouped randomly. The next day, she talked abt how we were "randomly sorted out" into our groups. So she was like, "I made sure that there was at least one person who has strong Math abilities in each group. I also tried not to put together the people who were in the same class last year but at the same time made sure that y'all had a fren in the group. I even made sure that the squashies were not grouped together. There was actually one group with Edelia, Jia Min and some others but I seperated them."

Haha Ms Tang, that's called careful planning. NOT random grouping =P

Ms Yap

Funny moment #1

Abt 2 mins after we were attempting the qn of a certain ws, this was what happened:
Someone: Ms Yap, do we draw the diagram in pen or pencil?
Ms Yap: Oh, please do it in pencil.
Some ppl: HAIYA!
A few ppl: TSK!
*The sounds of the grabbing and putting down of the blankoes could be heard distinctively*
*Ms Yap backs away until her back is touching the whiteboard(not kidding)*
Ms Yap: Aiyo. If you've alr drawn some of the dots in pen it's ok. Just leave it. Don't need to get so upset!

Funny moment #2

Ms Yap: Class, I am going to give you a pop quiz today.
2E: HUH???
Ms Yap: I'm sure Ms Tang had given y'all pop quizzes b4 right?
2E: NOOOO.....
Ms Yap: Are y'all sure?
2E: YESSSSS.....
Ms Yap: Ok. Since this is the first pop quiz, I let y'all discuss.
Some 2E ppl: *silently* YES!
Ms Yap: ...But in the future cannot becoz the purpose of this pop quiz is for me to assess your level of understanding.

Funny moment #3

Ms Yap: Class, can I give you the entire ws to do for hw?
2E: NOO!!!
Ms Yap: Do y'all have a test tmr?
2E: No...
Ms Yap: Do y'all have a lot of hw today?
Someone: No...
Others: YESSSSS!!!
Ms Yap: Really? What homework do y'all have today?
2E: OHOHOH. We have to write a best friend essay for LA!
Ms Yap: Only an essay? Is that a lot?
Someone: Yes! It has to be 600 words!
*Someone opens the front door*
Ms Yap: 600 words?! Wah! That's a lot!

Funny moment #4

Ms Yap: Class, can I give y'all this new ws for you to do as hw over the weekends?
2E: NOOOOOOOOOOO! Ehhh Ms Yap! It's National Day leh!
Someone: And we got a lot of hw!
Someone else: Besides, this ws WON'T HELP what...
*Ms Yap is shocked and pauses for a few sec*
Ms Yap: Won't.....help?.....Won't.....help?? What do you mean it won't help? Of coz it will help! Since it won't help then I might as well not give out this piece of ws.
2E: YES YES! OK LOR!
Ms Yap: But that means I won't be giving it out FOREVER you know.
2E: NO!!! Ok fine....just give us lor..
Ms Yap(to someone in front): Are y'all sure y'all are not lying to me(abt hw)? I think I'm being too lenient with y'all alr.

Ms Yap, you were probably being too lenient =P

Funny moment #5

*Ms Yap holds up a stack of paper*
Ms Yap: Ok class, can I give you a simple p....
2E united: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Ms Yap smiles(sadistically)*
Ms Yap: Don't worry! It won't be as traumatising as the previous pop quiz! It's much simpler and I'm going to let y'all do it in pairs.

Mrs Low

Funny moment #1

During a certain physics lesson, Mrs Low was teaching us abt colours of light and she starts singing the rainbow song.

Funny moment #2

Some ppl ask Mrs Low if she would add chemicals to potatoes or smth like that. It was related to our teachers' day vid. Then Mrs Low replied, "Of course not! I'm not a mad scientist ok!"

Mrs Lee

Funny moment #1

Mrs Lee was telling us what to expect from Biology lessons on the first day of Biology lesson. "We will be learning transport systems in living things......AND the topic that everyone is INTERESTED to learn and wants to find out about... sexual reproduction!"

Funny moment #2
Mrs Lee was going thru the answers for the front view of the female sexual organs in our lab books and we had to verbally answer her. So when she came to the blank pointing to the "vagina", she was like, "Girls, what's the next blank supposed to be?" Everyone kept quiet. Then she was like, "C'mon, dun be shy!" Then we just said it out loud.

Memorable Moment #1

Remember the time he had a motorbike accident and fractured his thumb? It's funny becoz he didn't come to sch for one month becoz of that.

Mrs Heng

Funny Moment #1

One windy day, we were having history. Suddenly, the door slammed shut becoz the wind was too strong. And it got jammed. Then Mrs Heng said, "The wind must be really angry! The door is even out of shape now."

Funny Moment #2

Halfway through our history lesson, it suddenly started raining. Mrs Heng was writing on the board, when she suddenly stopped and said, "Hey look! It's raining!" And then she went back to writing on the board.

Funny Moment #3

Whenever we made noise in class, she would do her famous buzzer sound, accompanied with a peace sign.

Funny Moment #4

Mrs Heng: Singapore follows British government system as we were a colony of Singapore in the past. That means actually the president doesn't have much power and the one who has the most power is the prime minister.
Someone: So what does the president do?
*Mrs Heng starts smiling and waves her hands in a way which was like royalty*
Mrs Heng: All they do is this lor.
*Some ppl start laffing*
Mrs Heng: BUT THEN! They're impt too becoz they represent the country and help with diplomatic ties with other countries.
Someone: But dun they have some power too?
Mrs Heng: They do. Do you know what is one thing that the president can do?
2E: Noo...
Mrs Heng: For example, if you are....No wait. I shouldn't be saying that. Ok, for example if someone is convicted of murder and is sent to the gallows, the president can actually appeal for the convict. But he can only influence the decision.
Someone: Haha. I wonder why someone would wanna be president then?

Mr Seow

Funny moment #1

On the first Social Studies lesson, Mr Seow calls out our names from the class list.
Mr Seow: Oh. This is a hard one. Shu-brush.....

Shuba: Just call me Shuba
Mr Seow: Shu or ba?
Shuba: Shuba is fine...
Mr Seow: Oh wait! How are you related to the Jeyaratnams? Is P.Jeyaratnam your father?
2E: Huh?

Funny moment #2

Whever we made noise, he would put his finger on his lips and go, "CHOOOP!"

Mrs Lee ended her lesson abt 5 mins late. By then, Mr Seow was alr at the door for Social Studies and he walked in. Many of us still had our lab books open and we were doing the male sex organs part as it was for hw! Then we quickly kept our books and Mr Seow was like, "I saw it ok! I recognise those diagrams! I was a Bio student once ok!" We were all very taken aback. Then he said, "Ok class, I'm gonna give you 2 minutes to get the genitals out of your heads then we'll start lesson!" Then he went on with the lesson.

Haha, rmb the time when I waited with you to finish your art on the laptop and then the battery was low! You got so scared when I said that Ms Chong would have to pay for the damages if the laptop was spoilt. Hehe, that was funny =P

A fellow squashie! Everytime when we had zuo wen during Chinese, I rmb you would always be one of the few ppl who would keep on asking me to translate english phrase/words to Chinese. Glad I could be of help :]

Hehe, I'm proud of you! You actually opened up more this year compared to last year. You know, like opening your mouth and words are actually coming out? Yups :]

I think it's quite cool that we got to be desk mates again and that we actually sat at the exact same spot where we sat last year. One thing I can nvr figure out abt you is how you can keep on laughing and laughing in one sch day.

I rmb during MT lessons, you would always be the last HCL girl to leave the classroom and when the CL girls were greeting lao shi, you would always be rushing like mad to get out of class. Haha.

Sorry I couldn't join you in the global warming competition thingy! Anw, I had a lot of fun times with you! I rmb Jia Le, Isabella, Arina, you and I would always gather at the teachers' table to ask funny qns with the ice cream sticks. Haha, I really wanted to kill you when you told Isabella I said that the blue-tac she made was called, "Mini Isabella". And I'll nvr forget the time we were in the same MOV group. It was so fun! :]

Jia Le:
It was fun working with you for the MOV project. Haha, whenever Ms Chong mentioned the Nerissa and Gratiano part for the ring plot, you would always turn back and stare at me. Haha! I made a ring out of blue-tac to replace the one I lost(as Gratiano) and gave it to you but you rejected it =( Hahaha. I also rmb during one of the studying periods we had near EOYs, you gave me German lessons! Haha. I think I've forgotten a lot of things that you've taught me =P

Jia Min:
A fellow squashie! Haha, I think you're a really innocent girl. I rmb how you always cover your ears when a "ory"word such as, "dissection" was mentioned. Thanks for encouraging me and helping me out in many ways when I was really down! :]

I enjoyed talking with you whenever we saw walked home together. Speaking of walking home together, I still rmb the time when I had to walk back with you becoz you had diarrhea and Ms Chong told me to escort you back.

Arina:
Haha, I think we got closer after I sat with you on the bus throughout ROCs. It was so funny lar! Thanks for translating so many Malay words into English for me during the trip! Hehe. And I kept on talking rubbish on the bus becoz I was really bored. Haha. I rmb there was once when I went for recess and I came back to class, you were like, "Yvonne! I was surprised when I didn't see you in class just now when I came back!" Haha.

Rachel Gunn:
Thanks for being such a fun desk mate in the earlier half of the year and during Chinese lessons! Sometimes I went hyper for no reason during lesson time and I think you must have thot I went mad or smth. I rmb how during Chinese lessons if there were leftover ws passed down to our row, you would always ask me to pass it to lao shi instead of passing it to her yourself. Haha, looks like you're more afraid of her than I am =P

Rachel Leong:
A fellow squashie! Thanks for trying to make me happy most of the time! I really appreciate how you offered to go out with me if I needed someone to go out with and how you listened to me talk abt how much I missed someone on MSN. I think you can be really adorable at times too :] Hehe.

Ruth:
Wow, this is like our 4th consecuetive year as classmates! So cool :] I think you're very resourceful in a sense that almost anything can be used as a mirror by you! =P Like the windows, e-dictionary and even the calculator! Haha, but it's quite funny sometimes when I see you using the e-dictionary/calculator as a mirror.

Thanks for all the fun times we've had this year! I still rmb the time we went teachers hunting during the teachers' day celebrations to pass the teachers our gifts. And the look on your face when Mrs Lee actually hugged you! Hahaha! I even thot Mr Soo was gonna hug you at that time =P Oh yes, and you make a really great PW group leader! You've really spent the most time on our project task this year and I appreciate your efforts :] Till today, I've no idea how you managed to come up with 1500+ words for the report all on your own! I think I only contributed like a few hundred words but you were like super! :]

I really admire the fact that you are able to do so well in coming up with really great Chinese compos! I just simply dun bother to replace simple Chinese words/phrases with cheem ones in my own compos.

Hey ppl.

Since someone has requested for the homework to be put up, I shall be that kind soul she's searching for. Haha. I guess it's kinda late to put it up only two days before school starts but nevertheless, here it is(Yes, school starts in only two days! *DIES*).

Homework for the Sept Hols
Math
-Complete the 2006 and 2007 SA2 papers. Leave out the qns on Probability and Set Language. You'll know when you encounter such a qn if you dun understand what those funny-looking symbols mean, you see a Venn Diagram or the word "probability" appears in the qn.

History
-Go to LEAD and open the lesson package under "My assignments". View the ppts and be sure to check the instructions given by Mrs Heng. For those of you who can't open the instructions doc, here are the instructions:
>We are to complete the history ws which is in that lesson package. It is to be completed by Mon.
>Take time to think abt the thinking qns which are posed in the ppt. Dun be lazy. Your brain needs the workout. Haha kidding. We ~~are actually forced~~ have to think becoz it's stated in the instructions.
>Mrs Heng mentioned that she modified the ws to lessen our workload. So be nice. Complete her work.
>And finally Mrs Heng wants us to have a good break and spend our time wisely during the hols(This is a summarised version of her actual words. Typing from memory mah...).

Normal CL
-Complete the comprehension ws. Doesn't ring a bell? You know... The one with the 2 qns which are worth 10 marks each. Still doesn't ring a bell? You should really go check that bell then.
-Practise reading the 4 oral practice passages. Be prepared to be arrowed on Mon.
-If I'm not wrong, I THINK we have ting xie on Mon. It's the chp on zhen zhu niao. Oh well, I said "I THINK" right? =P

Reminder:
There is oral exams next week! For CL/HCL, the oral exam is on Tues. For Higher Malay and Higher Tamil I'm not so sure but I think it should be on Tues too? For Eng, the oral exam stretches from Wed-Fri. If you're absent on that day becoz you're sick, be sure to get an MC and give it to the respective teachers the next day. Remember! No M.C.= No Marks. Confirmed.

I think that's all we have for hw. Should be lar. 23 more days till EOYs! Study hard ppl! All the best in the upcoming exams :]

HEYYYYY LADIES AND..... LADIES. BOW DOWN, BOW DOWN. I am here to post my first post on the classblog! [1000 cheers ;D] Anw, today is E-learning day.. lotsa work but can wake up late... muehehehe.... anws, im bored and I FOUND THESE TWO PICS in my folder! *rofl* So you can play Spot-the-difference here. xD

1. in first pic ms su looked angry(or hungry... i dno!) when ure hungry, you'll be angry... haha anws,

2. Maya was in first pic but not in second.

3. there was a man who was walking, in second he was further.

4. ms su's leg was more apart in the first pic. (cos she was ready to pose in the second! HAHA)

5. she was smiling in second.

6. in first pic, ms chong was squinting her eyes (maybe trying to look at someone/something... or maybe cos the sunlight was very glaring)

7. in first, ms chong raised her two index fingers! probably pointing upwards saying: "the sun is so hot!" or maybe she was telling ms su to pose for my cam:" look up, ms su. look up." HAHA.

8. Ms su did the peace sign in second pic! ahaha i realised she loves to pose. (dont worry, i do too! xD)

Greetings earthlings, the earth says hello! haha

anyway, great job with the April Fool's Day jokes! It was really good (with thanks to Eunice, Char, and others who contributed with their brilliant ideas! :D
for the sake of the squashies and the people who weren't around (eg: LALA! we miss you so!) i'll blog about what happened from my point of view.
well, we pranked Miss Tang and our main 'prankster' was none other than ... YVONNE! first, Eunice got Miss Tang's attention by asking her a math related question. Yvonne came up to miss tang and asked if she could go to the toilet. Suddenly, Yvonne fell on the floor with a loud thud, the girls from 2E screamed in horror and miss tang ran to yvonnes aid, the clouds rumbled, screaming in unison: Yvonne, yvonne..... *snaps back to reality*
yvonne did fall down and the class did gasp not scream. but it was not so drama. Miss tang looked worried and went to yvonne then she stopped and look at the class. "is this an april fool's joke?" the whole class started laughing and we continued with our math lesson.
We wanted to april fool mrs low but she wasnt in a good mood for we didnt but it would be really fun if we did cos Mrs low can have a good sense of humor.
For LS, we all opened our umbrellas while she was logging into the computer. I don't think she laughed right? I only saw her smile. It was a cute, quirky prank though! :D

overall, april fools day was really fun and its my first time pranking the teachers. we didnt do that last year. before i end this super short post, i just want to say: "people of 2E, so far only a few people have been tagging and posting. please do try and keep the blog alive by posting something and tagging!!!! SO JIA YOU and keep this bloggie alive!"

We'll try to get Everyone to have something to do but really sorry if we can't. AND YOU CANNOT LAUGH. If you are asked to act, you have to be convincing okay, if not you'll screw everything up and we'll all blame you :3 (whoopss hehehe sorry just making it sound threatening) SO DO A GOOD JOB!

Firstly, you have to understand that we are working under a lot of restriction so please compromise with what we have come up with. No further changes will be taken. No roles will be swapped unless it is done among yourselves and with our consent.

Okay I know that this sounds really plain now, but just do it and be spontaneous okay! It'll be funny! Something a wee--bit different from the normal boring days.

Yeah! Chinese Culture Camp has finally ended and the holidays have officially start, but one week just seems too short for me. ):
I just blog cause our class did well for the Health Awareness Week and came in first for Secondary Twos and everyone deserves a pat in a back, so did the pro pro runners who came in top 20. That was great.
Well, the school is late at giving us our progress report, which, to all of us, is a very good news? At least we get to enjoy our holidays more?
However, at an unhappier note, we have quite a lot of homework to do. ): Let me just take the role of Miss Yvonne and try to recall the homework that we have to do.
1. Maths worksheet
2. MEP - about the variations and music journal, I done it just now, and it was a bit boring cause I have no idea what to write about and they are all Baroque music, so you get what I mean.
3. Home Economics? Just guessing, maybe there is and I just reminded you. ):
4. Chemistry, on chapter 2 0r 3 of the theory workbook. Mrs Low thinks that we are free.
5. Project Work
6. LA Project Work on the red copy of Asian Geographic
7. Chinese book to be read.
8. Geography worksheet.
I don't think that there is anymore homework. And this is seriously a lot. Haiz, but what choice do we have? We must do the homework or else... Argh, we still have to do anyway. Eliminate lazy thoughts.
